Summary
The Head of US Marketing will chart the course for brand strategy, execution and be accountable for US business performance. The role is an essential team member of the Global Marketing Team and the US business operation. The Head of US Marketing will lead a team of professional marketers with skills in professional, consumer and partnership marketing. The role will be directly accountable for driving innovative marketing strategy and scaling our capabilities that align to our business aspirations. The role will initiate and lead cross functional company initiatives that add value to Aristocrat Gaming and represent US marketing on enterprise-wide initiatives.
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Head of US Marketing will work closely with executive leadership to develop effective people and business strategies to support and elevate outstanding employee and customer experience while driving business performance.What you'll do
- Lead US marketing strategy, tactics, and a team of marketing professionals
- Be accountable for developing legitimate strategic initiatives that enable business performance
- Oversee regional responsibilities
- Lead performance marketing, analysis, and resource allocation
- Lead annual marketing brand strategy development and planning
- Lead cross-functional processes with finance, Responsible Gaming, Legal, and Compliance
- Be accountable for marketing budget and agency management
- Scale and build brand equity, positioning, and messaging for key campaigns
- Lead appropriate marketing initiatives to support business objectives
- Scale and build senior executive presentations, core internal and external communications
- Represent Aristocrat in public forums, industry, and trade discussions
What we're looking for
- 15+ years of experience in professional marketing and business leadership experience. Gaming experience and market knowledge is preferred
- Proven history of setting innovative marketing strategy, leading annual brand planning and execution
- Experience in the use of marketing technology implementations, business analytics, key performance indicators, and dashboards
- Proven track record of leading agency partners to ensure achievement of business objectives
- Experience in pull through of marketing campaigns, performance marketing management and measurement
- Experience with advertising technology and marketing technology implementations and management
- Strong business acumen and the ability to execute marketing strategies designed to establish market presence and increase business performance.
- Experience orchestrating and developing people and working effectively in cross-functional teams
- Passion about driving inefficiencies out of the business while maximizing results and impact
- Strong balance of strategic and pragmatic marketing skills and significant experience in integrated, multichannel campaigns
- Demonstrated competency in identification of business opportunities, markets, innovation needs
- Proven success in business case development, presentation, and measurement
- Experienced with risk identification and mitigation
