As the Head of Talent Management, you will be responsible for providing your subject matter expertise in talent management initiatives, L&D efforts, career roadmapping, and program execution. Reporting directly to the CPO, you will be our first Talent Management leader. You will collaborate across the various business units to identify skill gaps and build out training needs. Responsibilities:
- Workforce Planning: Partner with the different businesses to build out job levels, career roadmapping, career, mobility, succession planning and ongoing development.
- Employee Performance Strategy: Align people strategies and performance management with Company values, culture, and key business deliverables. Performance Management, Talent Calibration and alignment with Total Rewards.
- Talent Vision Strategy: Create goals and milestones that reflect AppLovin’s current and long term vision and objectives while delivering on key talent initiatives for the business.
- Data Driven Approach: Leverage data to influence decisions and get buy-in from the business and key stakeholders.
- Lead the L&D efforts and Skills Assessment Gaps: Identify current skill gaps and future skills needed, and creating training programs on a global scale to proactively meet these needs.
- People Management: Manage L&D function and serve as a senior leader on the broader people team.
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of hands on experience in Talent Management, Organizational Development, Leadership Development, L&D and/or related experience.
- Strong analytical skills, you use data to influence decisions across the various business functions and levels. You have the ability to work with various stakeholders and teams to drive collaboration and alignment.
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous builder mentality culture.
- Effective communicator - strong presentation and change management skills including the ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple way and to tailor key messages and presentation style to multiple audiences.
- Results oriented mentality - demonstrates high initiative and provides leadership and execution in a fast paced evolving environment.
- A strong cross functional collaborator, with a roll up your sleeves, hands-on, results oriented mentality.
- Exemplary integrity and discretion while working with confidential and sensitive information.
