Are You Up To The Challenge?

As the Head of Server you’ll need to work with the other department head to understand the business and explore new opportunities. You’ll manage and evolve the server team to be able to develop current and future projects.

You’ll tackle complex architecture problems with your team leads and seniors and find solutions that can keep our several million daily active users playing happily.

What Does The Job Actually Involve?

• Contributing to the design and architecture of our servers using looking for the best tech for the job.
• Looking at industry standards (or trends) to build large data crunching pipelines
• Manage multiple projects with different stakeholders and prioritise based on company strategy and business understanding.

• Find ways to hire and retain the best team possible

Your Hard Skills

• A technical background with some programming experience.
• Architecture experience (data and code)
• Python experience
• Knowledge of databases.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (Couchbase, MongoDB, Cassandra, Memcache,etc.) could be useful but it’s not mandatory.
• Knowledge of Unix, Linux or equivalent development environments
• Some experience in game development would be a plus, although it’s not necessary.
• Team leadership / management experience
