Job description:
The Head of Security will be responsible for all security functions within 2K, and be a senior leader for the Technology Organization for all of 2K. S/he will be responsible for establishing and implementing security programs across game development, network security, and also be responsible for any other security functions within 2K. To be successful in this role, the Head of Security will work across all 2K business units as well as coordinate with Take-Two Interactive as required to support our internal and external fans in all areas of the Organization.
Job responsibilities:
- Attract and retain extraordinary security talent enabling our security team to scale rapidly and effectively. Lead the development of the Security organization and enable it to scale to support our rapidly growing company
- Obtain input from Business Segments, Corporate Security, External Audits and other groups to design and develop the strategic direction for an Information Protection Program for our studios and Board of Directors.
- Architect solutions to enable studios to operate in a secure environment that allows for the creative freedom to build games as they see fit.
- Engineer, implement, and own the security solutions for our production network to enable fans globally while maintaining the highest standards to reduce toxicity, cheating, and fraud within our intellectual property.
- Provide expert counsel and mentorship to senior leadership on security and its impact across business strategy, programs, products/services, and operations.
- Establish a program of ongoing education of the 2K community on security risks, terminology, and need/responsibility for participation in the sometimes inconvenient truths of ongoing security management, while maintaining focus on the preeminent goal of enabling the creative freedom for our developers.
- Responsible for the development of the 2K Information Security Strategy in alignment with Take-Two enterprise strategies and roadmaps; validates and confirms the strategy with appropriate stakeholders, and communicates it to appropriate stakeholders throughout 2K and Take-Two. Partner with Take-Two and other label security leaders on the shaping of all enterprise-wide strategies.
- Establishes key Information Security reporting metrics related to Information Security Architecture and Engineering services.
- Act as a resource and provide assistance in resolving conflicts that arise in the implementation of security strategy, policies, and standards.
- Participates in the ongoing development of the annual enterprise-wide Information Security Risk Assessment Methodology, as well as annual roll-up through 2K executive management, T2, and the Board of Directors as required.
- Assists business segments in adopting risk assessment methodology by providing guidance, tools and templates.
- Recommend risk avoidance strategies, risk mitigation actions and controls to 2K Business Segments and Take-Two enterprise functions. Assists 2K, as well as Take-Two Security with security design and architecture decisions for systems and applications that process, transmit, or store sensitive information..
- Engineer, implement, and own the security solutions for our production network to enable fans globally while maintaining the highest standards to reduce toxicity, cheating, and fraud within our intellectual property.
- Participate alongside Take-Two and Rockstar security leadership across the enterprise, in the Entertainment Software Association Games Security Group (ESA GSG), contributing and gaining insights at an industry level.
- Participate in Take-Two Internal Audit activities as needed, and through transparency mechanisms help to shape their priorities.
