Who We’re Looking For:

Skillz is looking for an experienced strategic and data-driven leader to build and grow a business growth strategy, analytics and insights team that will own the data and approach to drive revenue optimization for the company, helping guide us to answers of the questions ‘how are we doing and where are we going?’.

Reporting to the Global Head of Business Development and a critical member of the Revenue Leadership team, you will have a wide-ranging remit and opportunity to make a big impact across the business.

You will own all aspects of our revenue analytics, from data requirements definition to trend analysis and insights reporting, as well as cross-functional optimizations and implementation plans to drive further growth and/or mitigate revenue shortfalls.

Additionally, and as we go into the new year as a public company, our opportunity to drive new business opportunities with 3rd party partners, unlock new business and monetization strategies, and expand into new verticals and markets is significant. You will manage a team of strategy and researchers to help us unlock new opportunities, markets, and models that drive outsized business growth.

Finally, you will build and coach a team of business strategists, intelligence leaders, researchers, and analysts and you and your team will be critical cross-functional partners, working closely with key leaders and stakeholders including your Revenue org counterparts, FP&A, Marketing, Game Publishing and Product, and you will be a key partner to executive management.
