Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Head of QA for our Game Engine team. This position involves complete oversight and management of testing processes, as well as active leadership in establishing and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the product development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, strong sense of responsibility, excellent leadership skills, and a collaborative approach to team management.
What will you do?
- Develop and implement a testing strategy to ensure high quality of new game engine.
- Manage testing processes, including automation and manual testing.
- Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Lead the QA team in accordance with the current development model and HR policy goals:
- Hire, transfer, motivate, evaluate, train, and develop team members.
- Build and organize QA teams.
- Develop and manage team budgets.
- Establish and promote a culture of discipline and support in difficult situations.
- Solve the conflicts, help and support in difficult situations.
- Establish the quality of interactions between QA engineers and with employees from other disciplines and products.
- Analyze test results, identify and address systemic issues and bugs.
- Develop and implement new testing tools and methodologies to improve efficiency and quality.
- English level B2 or higher.
What are we looking for?
- At least 7 years of QA experience, preferably in the game industry.
- Experience leading a QA team.
- Knowledge of modern testing methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Strong analytical skills, able to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with test automation, programming languages, and scripting.
