Head of Product Management (f/m/d)
We’re looking for a Head or Product Management to manage a team of Product Managers on our first release, ‘Idle Miner Tycoon’.
Your focus will be on people management and processes and you’ll report directly to the Product Director. You will have experience working in an agile environment in a software development company, or ideally within a games studio.
This role would suit someone who enjoys people management tasks and aspire to be a mentor to their team. You’ll be entrusted with the team’s overall output, improving the efficient execution of tasks. You’ll also be entrusted with employee learning and development plans.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of product managers and product analysts, enable their career development, and increase their impact through mentoring and process improvement
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (Design, Art, Game Dev) to design, define the scope and implement core functions
- Effectively support product vision and strategy, monitor product progress by completing milestones, and collaborate with other parts of the organization
- Build knowledge and comprehension of data-driven insights among other members of the team through regular communication
Required skills
- Minimum of 4 years of Product Management experience in free-to-play game development managing live operations
- At least 2 years’ experience supervising high performing teams
- Ability to provide clear direction, set measurable goals and share insights into industry trends
- Great communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize
Desirable skills
- Previous experience working with mobile free-to-play games
