Head of Platform Operations

We’re seeking an entrepreneurial-minded & data-obsessed Head of Platform Operations to build, lead, and manage our Platform & Growth operations team.
Working with Demand & Supply Operations, Product, and BI, your team will own network health across the platform. You'll use your deep technical knowledge of the digital marketing space to track every dollar as it moves through the ecosystem. Your team will benchmark & proactively attack every opportunity to improve efficiency while providing insights to the broader Operations org. While the rest of the ops team is managing the performance of individual partners, your job is to look at the whole forest and tell us where we need to plant more trees.
This role is based in Chartboost's Amsterdam office and reports to the VP of Operations in San Francisco.
Impact you will make:
- Hire, train, and lead an elite, performance-driven Platform & Growth Operations team
- Benchmark & manage the health of each vital component of the platform
- Develop a deep understanding & communicate the nuances, opportunities, and deficiencies of each stage of the revenue funnel
- Create, iterate, and communicate important KPIs to product, engineering, and ops teams
- Partner with Product to propose a simpler more scalable future
- Partner with Ops leads to develop, monitor, and communicate network health
- Work directly with Demand/Supply Ops, business, and support teams in all onboarding & growth of new products
- Create & demonstrate a quality & customer-first performance ethos
Who you are:
- 5+ years experience in a digital advertising environment at an ad network, DSP, SSP, mobile/online gaming company or advertising agency
- 3+ years experience leading an operations team
- Understand every component of the digital marketing space and familiar with major players and their contribution to our business
- Data driven & technical with the ability to communicate effectively with product & engineering teams
- Proficient in SQL, excel, or other data tools
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills, experience with financial analysis, economics, forecasting and modeling
- Passionate about efficiency & learning
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
