As the Head of Performance and Rewards, you lead Rovio’s global performance and rewarding strategy with a focus on strengthening the link between performance and rewards and creating a more holistic, total rewards approach.
What your days will look like: As the Head of Rewards and Performance, you will design and drive rewarding and performance solutions across the organisation to contribute to an even greater employee experience.
Your responsibilities entail:
- Designing and building as well as improving and running compensation and equity programs aligned with Rovio’s culture and objectives
- Designing, building and developing performance processes to support Rovio’s short and long-term strategy and goals
- Collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders and the wider HR team to set the performance and rewarding priorities and future roadmap
- Developing and maintaining job architecture to support decisions around compensation, career paths and talent retention
- Performing regular, on-time analyses of existing rewarding programs, and producing insights on modern market trends
- Designing and maintaining clear and easy-to-use tools and services that build the know-how and understanding of others to create a learning, growth-oriented organisation
- Providing global and local advice and coaching to Rovio’s leaders and teams in matters relating to rewarding and performance
- Partnering closely with, and coaching your HR colleagues to together provide best possible employee experience for Rovians
Talent, mindset, and behaviours? We’re looking for:
- Strong knowledge, experience, and proof of effective total rewards design and implementation in an international setting (experience operating in the Finnish or Swedish markets appreciated), including short- and long-term incentives programs
- Clear understanding of the relationship between performance and short- and long-term rewards, and the drivers behind them
- Experience working and running processes in a global organisation, and managing relationships independently with internal and external counterparts
- Experience of working with remuneration matters related to a publicly listed company; e.g. executive compensation, remuneration reporting
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret data and extract insights
- Solid business acumen with a curiosity and desire to learn about the aspects of the industry Rovio operates in
- Good understanding of current and emerging market trends and tools to identify potential total reward opportunities and gaps
- Experienced in change and project management
- The ability to seamlessly alternate between the strategic and operational aspects of the role, and support others in doing the same
- Ability to support and inspire others across the organisation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English

- Second meeting: You will meet our Chief People Officer. In this meeting, you will learn about Rovio HR’s ambitions for the future and we’ll look forward to hearing more about your experience in leading the development of rewards and performance solutions.
- Third meeting: You will meet our Senior Leaders to learn about Rovio’s business, culture, and the work in practice. We’re curious to dig in deeper to your experience in leading, coaching, and supporting others.
- Final round: You will get to meet our CEO to learn more about Rovio’s ambitions for the future.
