HEAD OF PERFORMANCE MARKETING ART

Miniclip is looking for a Head of Performance Marketing Art to join our Marketing team. This is a full-time position reporting to the Director of Performance Marketing.

What Will You Do?

This is a varied and exciting role, working with a leading mobile games and entertainment company. You will work closely with the marketing and product team, managing the Performance Marketing Art team, having the following responsibilities:

  • Define the overall creative direction for all performance marketing assets across a wide range of different platforms and channels .
  • Develop the creative vision for each key title and lead the art team to realise this vision, producing best in class creatives .
  • Be a mentor and role model to the wider art team, giving constructive feedback to maintain high production standards, both on artistic work and professional attitude, with the mindset of improvement and professional growth .
  • Establish strong internal production procedures with a can-do attitude, from briefing to execution and creative performance reporting .
  • Design across a variety of games from the Miniclip portfolio, adapting to different art styles and unique audiences .
  • Work with UA and Product teams to be able to test and research different possible routes for game brands, measuring success based on pre-defined KPIs .
  • Deliver industry-leading design ideas based on trends and best practices for various marketing art assets, such as ASO materials and UA creatives for several channels like Facebook, Snapchat or TikTok .
  • Work closely with external partners such as agencies as well as creative tools, ensuring a smooth work process with the internal team .

The following skills are essential for the role:

  • 5+ years of professional marketing design experience working in digital marketing or the entertainment and gaming industry (mobile games preferred) .
  • Strong experience managing bigger art teams .
  • Team player, able to work with many different decision makers across multiple projects at the same time .
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing high-quality art material for large-scale online marketing campaigns (Gaming marketing preferred) .
  • Exceptional understanding of the fundamental graphic design principles (typography, shapes, layout, grid, hierarchy, color, animation, composition, brand)
  • Expert-level knowledge and experience of Adobe software like Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Advanced experience with motion graphics and video editing tools such as After Effects, 3dsMax, Premiere .
  • Project management experience is essential .
  • Expert knowledge of all techniques to improve conversion rates on direct response advertising .
  • General understanding of User Acquisition and its importance in the mobile games industry .
  • Outstanding creative eye to propose new art .
  • Great knowledge about ad creative technology for online marketing creatives
  • Experience working on multiple A/B tests and communicating key results to stakeholders is required .
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written .
  • Fundamentals of copywriting (in English) and localisation processes are required .
  • Strong understanding of mobile game products and key features of free-to-play games is preferred .
  • Experience working with influencers and TV ads is a plus .
