Job Summary
The Pokémon Company International (TPCI) is growing! We are seeking a Head of Global Talent Management to directly impact our fun, engaging and growing Pokémon team. You will bring your experience and creativity to this newly created role crafting and implementing a global strategy that facilitates successful brand orientation for new employees and enhances the overall employee experience at TPCI. You will drive employees’ development, sense of belonging and careers throughout the various phases of their time with us; from orientation to career advancement/development. This will require you to think big, build, define and drive adoption of new concepts, processes, tools etc. and to be comfortable challenging convention, and in some cases define and reinvent how work is done.
In this role you will lead a small team (supporting multiple countries) and will be responsible for transforming and implementing processes such as onboarding, performance management, talent reviews (people days), career and succession planning all through a lens of equity, inclusion, and diversity. Your ability to quickly learn and understand our business will be an essential element as a thought leader on our talent and how to continually improve. It will be your role to balance long-term planning with the ability to create practical, scalable and actionable plans that are aligned on by multiple stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the focused improvement of our global and country employee experience from onboarding to alumni status including assessment.
- Ensure a diversity, equity and inclusion lens is applied to all of our processes and programs, engaging and assigning work in all functions across the organization.
- Define, in partnership with key leaders, our talent assessment, planning, and succession processes, tools and goals.
- Develop leadership across TPCi to build leaders of the future that are creative thinkers and problem solvers.
- Ensure all processes are easily executed and support selection of tools to automate.
- Transform our performance management programs and process to performance coaching to achieve strong results, drive differentiation and people leader accountability for assessment, development and retention.
- Build programs, tools and educational moments to generate a growth mindset across our organization and a skillset to match.
- Assess leadership development gaps and develop programs and meetings with the intent of meeting those gaps and then some.
- Set organizational talent goals in partnership with the Chief People Officer and Executive Team to achieve business and culture outcomes.
- Determine global career development needs and implement plan to address.
- Lead and empower a small team as well as a stellar group of peers.
- Leverage people analytics, employee insights, and organization strategy to determine and set metrics and scorecards that measure and support the actions/accountabilities to drive people and business goals.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, Masters preferred with a focus in Organization Development, HR, or related preferred.
- 12+ years of Talent Management, Organization Development, Leadership Development and/or Human Resources related experience.
- 5+ years of people management experience.
- Strong point of view and experience in applying the lens of equity, inclusion, and diversity across the employee lifecycle including processes, programs, and products.
- Experience with HRIS, with survey tools (including strong question design, qualitative and quantitative analytic techniques), and other HRIS/Talent Management tools.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and demonstrated ability to develop creative and innovative approaches to the candidate experience.
- Instructional design capabilities across multiple modalities.
- Experience designing and developing metrics and scorecards in the Human Capital Management space.
- Proven experience facilitating groups to outcomes in new and innovative ways.
- Strong executive presence and proven ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Previous experience thriving in a fast-paced, transformative environment with proven capability to influence change and manage effectively through ambiguity.
- Proven ability to develop successful relationships with business partners and team members in a virtual and in-person capacity.
- Ability to be hands-on, as both a strategic and tactical leader, working side by side with our people to get things done.
- A desire to champion and embody the TPCi culture, mission, and values.

We offer a professional, fun and creative work environment. While we maintain a good balance between work and life, additional hours may be required at peak times or for specific initiatives. Travel between office locations internationally may be required on occasion, up to 20%.
