Summary
The Pokémon Company International (TPCI) is growing! We are seeking a Head of Global People Operations and Total Rewards to directly impact our fun, engaging and growing Pokémon team. As the Head of Global People Operations and Total Rewards, you will be responsible for the overall global strategy; aligned with the industry and execution of compensation and benefits services, HR technology and systems, data analytics, compliance, Executive Compensation, overall Compensation, Wellness & Benefits and employee recognition programs. You’ll be an integral part of the People Leadership Team working in close partnership to continually improve and develop these strategies.
Your understanding of our business will be essential to being a thought leader on strategic compensation and Global People Operations. It will be your role to balance long-term planning with the ability to create practical, scalable and actionable plans that are understood by all stakeholders. You will evolve TCPI’s Total Rewards and Global People Operations function and lead a team of high-achieving individuals. This will require you to think big, use data to guide your work, be comfortable challenging convention, and in some cases reinvent how work is done.
What You’ll Do
- Provide deep expertise in overall People Operations: total benefits and rewards, compensation approaches and solutions, discretionary bonus program, executive compensation and benefits, shared services, HR technology and systems, data analytics, and policies/compliance.
- Proactively manage and create strong partnerships with benefits and providers, including rate renewal negotiations, claims handling, market surveys, open enrollment communication and meetings.
- Ensure employee recognition programs drive engagement and align with our culture.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define the company’s compensation philosophy and salary administration, structure, and systems; partner effectively with payroll team.
- Flawlessly manage our compensation practices around key touch points, such as new hire offers, promotions, discretionary bonus, merit increases and annual market adjustments.
- Lead the development, communication and effective implementation of People policies as needed.
- Manage our immigration and mobility practices and external vendor partners to support our efforts to attract and retain top talent.
- Provide guidance and timely follow-up to employee and manager inquiries.
- Oversee day-to-day management of the People operations function including future HRIS management, policies, procedures and company compliance.
- Provide information and insight via reporting and analytics.
- Proactively stay abreast of changing laws and regulations to ensure company compliance with the laws where we do business and expand our business.
- Working side by side with our people on a variety of total rewards and people operations related areas. As a core part of this hands-on work, this role will implement programs to support the People team, including compensation, long term incentives, immigration, and compliance.
What You’ll Bring
- A minimum of 12+ years’ experience operating as the leader of overall people operations and total rewards.
- An advanced degree or related experience (bachelor’s degree minimally required).
- Demonstrable expertise in the following areas: total rewards, shared services, HR systems, benefits, expatriate programs and requirements, and overall People operations.
- Experience defining compensation and benefits in multiple countries (US, UK, Ireland and potentially others) around the globe.
- You have a deep passion for compensation strategy, planning, design, and implementation.
