About the Role
The Head of Global Communication will be responsible for the following disciplines:
Internal Comms: Keep the team informed on relevant topics and inspired on the mission. Define and run the internal comms strategy (tenets, goals, metrics and processes) so that all channels (e-mail, newsletter, slack and wiki homepage) and sync events (All Hands & Standup) must coexist and complement each other.
Events: Plan and deliver events that strengthen our culture and sense of belonging (e.g. EoY party). Managing Team Event Budgets. Define Swag strategy and operationalize it. Run Hackatons.
External comms: Own PR & Proprietary Channels (Social, Website and Blog). Define the strategy to support business goals, including tenets, goals and tactics (i.e. audience, message, cadence, metrics). Review all press releases. Oversee the PR initiatives with agencies. Keep track and update Wildlife's PR crisis manual
Content & Design: Lead the development of high quality content to support our communications strategy (Videos, blog posts, All Hands presentations, Business presentations). Manage the designing of template and visual Ids for programs, internal brands and events.
About you
- 8+ years experience in comms in relevant companies, leading 10+ people
- Experience in remote communications
- Able to set strategic direction
- Structured and effective communicator
- Curious about the business
- Fluent in English. Portuguese desired.
