Roblox is looking for a Head of Enterprise Applications to join our growing Systems team.
Roblox Head of Enterprise Applications will lead implementation of our Enterprise Applications and oversee the systems roadmap. You will ensure we use our tools and architect solutions that scale. You will partner with the Executive team and cross-functional leaders to develop an Enterprise Applications plan that supports Roblox achieving our business goals, reducing security risks, and increasing automation, while maintaining reliable systems company-wide.
You are our internal expert on Enterprise Applications and liaise between operations, our IT team and vendors.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead Strategy & Planning for Enterprise Applications
- Meet systems goals, scaling Enterprise Applications to 2000 users and beyond
- Fulfill end-user requirements
- Identify opportunities for integration or automation of systems
- Perform ongoing analysis of buy versus build and customization. Recommend products
- Oversee Application acquisition and deployment, including evaluation, installation, testing, configuration and deployment of new applications
- Work with internal governance team to maintain central identity and access management control
- Design and install application enhancements and upgrades
- Negotiate contracts with software and service providers
- Maintain inventory of company application and systems assets and corresponding contracts
- Maintain relationships with vendors
- Oversee training and release documentation for end-users
- Create standard operating procedures for Applications and lead on upgrade events
- Coordinate with InfoSec team to ensure security controls are implemented
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in the field of Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, and/or relevant industry certifications/experience.
- 5+ years of experience working with and improving Enterprise Applications
- Experience scaling the application portfolio to support for hyper growth
- Architecture skills for detailed solutions in the Business and IT space
- Experience optimizing SaaS and Cloud host solutions
- Experience with Enterprise SaaS applications (G Suite, Slack, Zoom, Office365, Atlassian, Workday)
- Experience with Identity Management and SSO technologies (Okta) in the context of User Lifecycle Management
- Knowledge of Information Security best practices
- Technical and user-friendly communication
- Research skills into application issues and products
- Organizational skills to handle multiple, high priority projects
- Self-motivated with a start-up mentality
- Strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
