Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

At Rovio, our vision is to lead the industry in creating safe and joyful gaming experiences that are crafted in a diverse and inclusive work culture while respecting our planet. We are looking for a Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) to join our Sustainability team who will play a pivotal role in realizing this vision. As the Head of DEI, you will be the principal architect of a company’s diversity, equity, and inclusion programs. You will create and drive the DEI strategy and related initiatives with an ultimate goal to ensure an equitable work environment for all employees so that DEI becomes a strategic advantage and builds long-term value for the employees and shareholders; and ultimately, creates a positive and lasting impact for players. You will report directly to the Chief Sustainability Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Set and drive our DEI strategy, including priorities and KPIs so that it builds long-term value for the company and its employees, and is part of the everyday culture of the organization.
- Review Rovio’s current practices and policies, assessing the extent to which they support or hinder the organization’s diversity and inclusion goals.
- Plan, develop, and drive the implementation of diversity programs and initiatives.
- Work closely with company executives to build a culture of inclusion.
- Collaborate with the communications team and recruiters to drive external and internal diversity-related messages.
- Set diversity targets and KPIs to understand and track performance in the organization, provide insights to highlight trends, and demonstrate the impact of DEI programs and initiatives
- Provide deep domain knowledge, thought leadership, advice, coaching, solutions, and consultation on DEI and related areas.
- Provide external thought leadership by representing Rovio and engaging with different stakeholders to talk about Rovio’s sustainability strategy and initiatives.
- Chair the DEI workgroup consisting of both stakeholders and volunteered employees.

Recruitment process:
- There will be two separate interviews. During one interview, you will meet the Chief Sustainability Offer. During another interview, you will meet our Senior Sustainability Manager. The aim is for us to know who you are, what motivates you, what your experience has been and what your skills are.
