We’re hiring a Head of Design to lead a talented team of Product and Brand Designers at HQ. We are looking for a leader who combines a passion for building the future of television, creative vision, mentoring and a focus on executing design excellence. This role will report directly to the CEO of the Company.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure best in class experiences across all of our products and features and ensure teams are delivering high-quality design work.
- Define UX vision and strategy, generating buy-in and operationalizing the strategy across multiple teams and timelines.
- Inspire, lead, manage, and expand a team of talented Product and Brand Designers
- Evolve and operationalize the right design processes that allows for innovation, testing, and collaboration while also shipping product
- Partner closely with the Head of Product on overall product strategy and direction
Role Requirements
- Start Up Experience Required
- 10+ years of experience designing digital products with a focus on mobile
- Experience leading the entire product design process, from early problem discovery through prototyping to post launch
- Established trackrecord of building and developing design teams at multiple stages of Company growth
- Experience developing and managing a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership in establishing work priorities for multiple projects, taking responsibility, developing confidence & respect, and shifting priorities to accommodate change
