About the role:
Chartboost is seeking a Head of Demand to drive all sales and customer relationships throughout the EMEA region. The person in this role has the opportunity to lead and drive regional growth, while building new business pipelines and defining the regional sales strategy for Chartboost DSP. Highly successful customer relationships will be critical along with the proven ability to represent market feedback is key. As a senior member of the demand team, this person will ultimately help influence our services, products, offerings in-market. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in mobile advertising and programmatic buying. This experienced leader will have a passion for helping others, experience building and leading teams, and collaborating cross functionally with key stakeholders.
What you’ll do:
- Coach and mentor an existing team of experienced Account Managers and Account Executives to exceed revenue goals.
- Source and identify prospects (mobile app/game developers and mobile marketers, etc.), develop a robust pipeline, and close new business. Ideally this person should be able to come in with a rolodex of contacts within the industry
- Ability to understand and execute against the customer’s business goals, anticipate future needs and help determine ideal solutions to scale and drive revenue for the company
- Manage client expectations at all levels and lead customer meetings. Demonstrate a consultative approach in addressing customer needs and expectations while driving towards Chartboost’s company goals
- Manage and nurture multiple large advertiser accounts within the region. You're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and analyze data and campaign settings to troubleshoot problems for the customer
- Lead external training to enable customers to utilize our products and solutions effectively
- Represent Chartboost in industry conferences and customer meetings throughout the globe (when safe to do so)
- Ability to understand product integrations, providing feedback to help improve product performance and troubleshooting technical or business inquiries
- Work closely with our internal technical teams regarding any highly technical queries, and provide customer support
Who you are:
- Experienced sales leader with 5+ years in sales (inside/outside/direct), preferably in digital advertising
- 3+ years experience building and/or managing a team
- A start-up mentality: you know how to stretch a dollar to grow our existing clients and close deals with new clients
- Comfortable working in an environment where change happens quickly, with the ability to calibrate and adapt
- Organized and methodical, with phenomenal communication skills and a consultative approach in addressing customer needs
- Knowledge of Salesforce and/or other CRM systems
- You have excellent verbal and written English communications skills
- You love learning, you love helping people, and you want to get people excited to use Chartboost
- A strong and proactive planner, collaborator and organizer, a stickler for details and a master of multitasking
- A can-do "make it happen" attitude - you are comfortable making decisions with little supervision or direction
