About the Role
The Head of Content and Partnerships APAC will create regional content projects alongside leading a team comprised of acquisition, account management and associate personnel. You will also negotiate and close complex licensing agreements with essential industry partners in the APAC talent and influencer 's space, across gaming , sport and music. You will have strong organizational and leadership skills , licensing negotiation and management experience, a customer service mentality, a passion for multiplayer entertainment and the evolving timelines.
You Will:
- Create local strategic projects and other partnership projects
- Lead team of partnerships personnel
- Report important performance metrics and objectives
- Provide regular reports to senior management
- Influence, contribute and accomplish regional strategic goals
- Business development, from outreach to complex contract negotiation and execution
- Identify and recruit content creators to use the platform
- Manage and strengthen relationships with existing partnered content creators where applicable
- Work with multiple internal departments to achieve regional goals
You Have:
- 8+ years people management experience
- 10+ years business development experience in the APAC landscape
- Must be organized , strategic , creative and be able to clearly communicate how plans will meet organizational goals
- Experience across main APAC markets such as Japan , Korea and Australia and India
- Proactive mentality - will work independently
- Focused on setting and exceeding personal, team, and organizational goals
- Build relationships, and relating to others at all levels
- Manage and complete projects and priorities at the same time
- Understanding of common online video and online advertising metrics
- Developed understanding of the traditional and digital media sector
- Ability to travel to gaming conventions (E.g. Gamescom, TwitchCon), more than 30 days of traveling a year
- Proficient in GSuite Tools
- Have an existing and solid network in the media and talent industry
- Demonstrated negotiations across multiple channels of a commercial discussion from ideation to execution
- Target-inspired: excited to achieve and exceed our goals
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher

- Written and verbal fluency in one (or more) other language(s)
- Previous employment in a similar role on the platform / agency side
