We are seeking an innovative Head of Architecture for a hands-on role establishing a vision and providing deep technical expertise and decision on technology selection and adoption at the enterprise level. The successful candidate will be responsible for not only system architecture, but their ability to establish a discipline of solution architecture in the technology team, to support and optimize enterprise deployment of our Customer Experience (CX) Solutions.What You'll Do
- Collaborate with corporate office to the CTO to ensure overall alignment to technology direction.
- Lead and facilitate the creation of governing principles to guide solution decision making for the enterprise.
- Responsible for staying updated on technology trends and be on the lookout for any software, services or hardware that could improve our enterprise solutions.
- Drive Tech stack consolidation in alignment with business needs and development efficiencies.
- Analyzing and recommending build versus buy strategies. Support evaluation of possible partner’s platform, architectures and propose the right solution that best fits customer’s business requirements and technology vision.
- Strong mobile architecture experience.
- Experience in projects that involve hardware solutions with effective use of latest technology to maximize operational efficiencies.
- Responsible for overseeing, improving, and upgrading enterprise services, software, and hardware.
- Enable the Continuous Delivery Pipeline and DevOps, making effective decisions in the face of changing or unknown needs. Enables the Agile teams to receive fast feedback on the solution’s effectiveness, leveraging release on-demand methodology.
- Customer-Centricity and Design Thinking and ensure users’ needs are first and foremost when making architectural choices
- Work with portfolio stakeholders, notably product management, development leads and solution architects to analyze, develop and recommend optimum approach technology selection and adoption.
- Represents CXS Technology by sharing our technology vision, current and future architecture on behalf of CXS.
- Hands-on leader, who works with the team providing technical directions and solutions when needed.
- Leads the budget process for his or her area of the business.
- Ensures adherence to the budget by monitoring expenditures and forecasting monthly.
- Analyzes and reviews the development processes and/or tools to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Requires minimum of 10+ years of experience as a technology leader responsible for defining and driving the technical vision and implementation. Preferrable 15+ years.
- Requires experience of 5+ years leading global teams across different time zones (ex. India, Australia, US).
- Requires 5+ years of P&L management.
- Requires 10+ years of people management experience. Must have strong leadership skills in the areas of performance management, employee engagement and talent development.
- Understanding and experience with the UI/UX discipline towards collaborating with the UI/UX team.
- Requires experience in security by design of platforms.
- Being the subject matter expert in relevant technologies like Cloud, Big Data, IOT, etc. Experience with frameworks like .NET Core, Angular, ELK, etc. Operating systems including Microsoft, Linux, Debian. Microservices design, Mobile experience on Ionic, React, etc. Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, RabbitMQ, etc.
- Experience with DevOps strategies and implementation.
- Good leadership and motivational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in modeling and graphic representations.
- Must have strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills. Innovative thinking in problem solving.
- Knowledge of software development and agile software development processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or its equivalent. Requisite experience will not be substituted for this must-have requirement.
- Obtain Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) and/or other gaming jurisdictions in which we operate.
