Head of Partner Management

The Riot Commercial Partnership team (RCP) serves as the central hub for sponsorship, media, marketing, and strategic partnerships across Riot. The Partner Management group operating within that team is focused on supporting efforts to manage and grow the portfolio of world-class brands that partner with Riot across esports, games, events, entertainment, and media including League of Legends and VALORANT.
We are looking for a motivated expert to implement a long-term strategic vision for us and our partners. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer of Riot, the Head of Partner Management will understand our products and will deliver the best in market results to the benefit of our company, partners, and players. Our Head of Partner Management will be an important member of the CCO's leadership team and will help shape the strategy and direction of the organization.
You will help to build a cohesive and passionate team focused on managing the ongoing relationships established by the business development group.
Responsibilities:
- Help build a world-class account management organization that delivers value to our partners and our players
- Lead the effort to seek and identify new and incremental opportunities for existing partners across Riot's expanding portfolio of products
- Manage the team charged with execution and delivery of their assigned partnerships through your deep craft leadership and great coordination and relationships with our teams and important partner contacts
- Represent Riot as the top relationship lead with partners; help your team establish trust as a strategic partner driving the execution and success of the partnerships and ensuring that the partnership delivers on not only the goals of both Riot and the partner but that delight our players.
- Support your team as they represent partnership needs, goals, and deliverables in internal workstreams and work with internal teams to ensure that partner programs are executed at the highest level and per contractual obligations
- Contribute to the all aspects of renewal of partnerships
- Lead the team in the preparation and delivery of partner program recap reporting, including collection and analysis of performance data and communication of learning and optimization recommendations
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- 10+ years experience in Partner Management
- 5+ years experience leading a team
- Strong analytical skills and background, with ability to use data to power decision-making
- Experience mixing creativity with strategic thinking, and demonstrate strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience leading shared service support departments
- Experience overseeing a global function as a craft leader
- Experience leading organizational change and transformation programs
