Hardware / Industrial Designer

We are looking for a Hardware / Industrial Designer to join our growing hardware team. This role will interface heavily with software, design teams, and manufacturing partners to develop design concepts for platform hardware and physical game components into finished manufactured solutions.
What you will do:
- Work on the hardware team to develop new platforms to deliver the Osmo experience.
- Work with game and computer vision teams to develop fun and interesting gameplay experiences.
- Build lots of prototypes that explain your design concepts or prove functionality.
- Test your ideas with real users - empathetically refining your designs to create amazing user experiences.
- Transform designs into amazing renderings that excite our customers and partners.
- Work with our vendors to translate designs from concepts into final products that delight our customers.
About You:
- 2-5 years experience working as a designer of consumer products.
- Experience working on children’s products is a plus.
- Passionate about the whole design process -user research - product brief - concept design - DFM - mass production.
- Highly motivated and proactive.
- Drive projects forward, destroying all roadblocks.
- Creative problem solver who likes to get your hands dirty, building fast/iterative physical models to explain and test your design concepts.
- Well versed in the tools of the trade - 2D (Adobe Suite) and 3D (Creo, SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360, Keyshot, Maya)
- Excel in a team environment - feeding off and challenging your peers in a collaborative work space.
