Overview
PTW is currently looking for a passionate HR Specialist to join our crew. PTW has been a stalwart of external development in the games industry for nearly three decades and is ready to add to our team, as we open our new European studio in Portugal.
As the PTW family of brands grows, our HR teams needs to expand our skillset by adding a creative mind to our team. We are looking for an HR professional who can operate at a tactical level across all facets of HR. Someone who is experienced in recruiting operational roles, providing HR support and managing payroll.
The ideal candidate for this role is excited about our brands and our people and looking to bring their own magic and experience to the team to support the growth and development of the business.
As we are opening a new studio facility, we need this role to be based in Braga.
Requirements
- Primary partnership with local country management leaders to establish HR strategic and tactical framework & plans to align with global, regional, and local commercial priorities.
- Be involved on strategic, tactical, and operational HR fronts, while providing leadership to the local HR teams.
- Manage the recruitment of all new team members for the studio.
- Ensure best practices in HR are relevant to the business needs and acted as counsel to the management team on HR issues such as talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations & engagement, diversity, equity & inclusion (DE&I), manpower reporting & analysis, and budgeting.
- Be responsible for all payroll and benefit administration for our Portuguese team.
- Develop and improve HR policies and procedures for implementation.
- Manage organizational change processes and initiatives in the areas of integration and restructuring.
- Lead and provide support as the HR focal point in HR and organizational system implementations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Marketing & Communications, Learning & Development to uphold the standards and practices required of an integrated HR function.
- Provide support and front organizational audits and ensure that HR practices (processes and controls) are aligned with requirements.
- Keep abreast of local statutory regulations and industry initiatives to partner with the business.
- Be actively involved in regional projects, as well as undertake other HR responsibilities that are reasonably required from time to time
What we are looking for
- Professional qualifications/certifications in HR.
- Extensive full spectrum HR experience, including recruitment.
- Experience of managing a payroll process.
- Able to prioritize, organize and execute multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
- Fluency in English
- Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with client-oriented mindset.
- Be prepared to be operationally hands-on where necessary.
- Resourceful, meticulous, and a team player who can work well with all levels.
- Possess a high level of integrity & discretion.
- Self-driven personality and team player.
