HR Specialist – Future of Work (Fall 2021 Internship)
Job Description
At Ubisoft Montreal, we’re constantly evolving our methods to respond to the organization's ongoing transformation. That’s why we created the Incubator team, a group dedicated to putting projects in place to adapt the studio for the better.
As an HR Specialist Intern, you'll join the Incubator team to provide much-needed support for one of its major projects of the year: the Future of Work, a hybrid model that will be gradually rolled out to our 4,000+ employees starting this fall.
Now that the conceptual work of the project is complete, you'll help us shift to practical and concrete actions, i.e., deploying this new work structure and adapting its corresponding practices, processes, and tools.
Our project manager will oversee you throughout your internship. Not only will she guide you in your tasks, but she'll also give you all the freedom and flexibility necessary to make an impact as you contribute to shaping the future of work at the studio.
What you’ll do
- Participate in implementing the hybrid model + draw on best practices to help adapt our processes and tools to this new work reality.
- Meet with experts from across the studio (e.g. cross-functional teams like Talent, production, IT, Work Environment, etc.) to organize the fall plan and start testing the model.
- Evaluate proofs of concept with a people-centric and business-oriented approach, keeping in mind that safety is always our priority.
- Prepare presentations to effectively communicate strategies and choices to a wide range of audiences, including upper management.
- Stay up to date on global news to identify opportunities and best practices + anticipate future trends.
Qualifications
What you bring
- A degree (completed or in progress) in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent
- A penchant for organizational development
- Availability to work from the studio (5455 av. de Gaspé, Montreal, QC H2T 3B3) 3 times/week if needed
- An ability to quickly grasp concepts, tools, and thought processes
- French and English communication skills
- Curiosity to explore and learn what’s being done elsewhere
- A collaborative and innovative spirit
- An aptitude for working within a context of ambiguity
