Our projects continue to push forward the boundaries of VR and we’re looking for talented people to help us turn them into a reality. Our talented studio now has over 100 people and has been assembled by world-leading games developers and publishers.
THE ROLEWe have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Project Manager to join our team for 6 months. As a high-tech business in the games industry, we are going through a period of change and growth; as a result we have exciting HR projects on the horizon. We are seeking a project manager to support the HR function and take a lead in managing these projects.
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will work closely with the Talent team to deliver several projects that are key to our Talent Plan. We have some of the building blocks in place for certain projects but for others, you will be involved in developing these from scratch, bringing your previous experiences to put forward and deliver effective solutions.
This is a hands-on role about discovering workable solutions that fit the business - we want our processes and systems to be simple, relevant and add value to the business. You will work very closely with our Talent Team Managers, sharing knowledge and making sure we deliver to those principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritise and plan implementation dates for Talent Team projects
- Applicant Tracking System (ATS) functionality upgrade project
- Commence rollout of mentoring programme across the business
- Review current tools and processes used in the Talent Team to identify inefficiency; recommend best practise and process improvements
Share Project Management methods across the Talent team
Requirements
- Background in HR, ideally qualified at CIPD Level 7 or relevant experience.
- Formal project management experience with relevant delivery experience covering the project lifecycle
- Ability to influence at a strategic level and inform Executive decision making.
- Business process acumen including change, risk, finance, planning and people management skills. Detailed knowledge of project management methodologies, including risk management, resource and budget planning & estimating, and change control
- Experienced facilitator with a command of relevant techniques
- Experience working within a creative tech high growth business is highly desirable.
- Must be able to work autonomously to high standards and deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation up to Executive Board level and team management skills.
- Strong IT skills with track record of process review and implementing system improvements
- Ability to understand different cultures essential.
