As an HR Organizational Design Analyst/Project Manager at Ubi MTL, you play a key role in preparing our studio and talent pool for the (anticipated and unexpected) realities of tomorrow. With your expertise, you develop a succession planning strategy that’s both people-centric and data-driven. You’re responsible for designing and setting up the entire systemic process – from conception through to implementation.
You have the ability to grasp concepts quickly, evaluate initiatives thoroughly, and look for improvement opportunities. Combining these qualities with your empathy and critical thinking, you come up with a plan of action to guide our decision making for the long-term.
What you’ll do
- Partner with HR teams to assess our talent-related tools and programs (onboarding, recruitment, talent development, performance management, etc.).
- Analyze our current situation, identify gaps, and explore opportunities that are both people-centric and data-driven.
- Brainstorm and perform market research to develop a succession planning approach.
- Work closely with interdependent team members to identify and forecast critical positions & clarify the skills, knowledge, and attitudes required to fill them.
- Collaborate with operational teams who will create the necessary tools.
- Design and develop our succession planning strategy.
- Implement, monitor, and adapt the strategy.
- Communicate and promote new processes across our studio.
Qualifications
What you bring
- A highly collaborative, innovative, and empathetic spirit
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations
- Critical thinking, curiosity, resourcefulness, tact, and plenty of flexibility
- Motivation to envision new organizational design approaches, technology, and business intelligence solutions
- Effective presentation skills (you’re able to efficiently present and explain strategies and choices to a variety of audiences, including executives)
- A master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent
- At least 5 years of organizational development experience with a proven track record
- Experience with the Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint), familiarity with data visualization software (e.g. Tableau) + understanding of research techniques
