HR Officer (Visa & Immigration)

As the Visa & Immigration HR Officer at Cloud Imperium Games, you will be joining our ‘Studio Experience Team’ who have overall responsibility for ensuring our studios are a great place to work and most importantly supporting and being there every step of the way for our awesome colleagues. It’s so important for us to ensure that everyone has the best onboarding and employee experience possible, which is exactly where you come in.

As the Visa & Immigration HR Officer you will work as part of the HR team and will take overall responsibility for supporting the full visa and immigration process for our new hires and existing employees, ensuring compliance and providing solutions.

What does a Visa & Immigration HR Officer do?

• Be the point of contact for day-to-day immigration matters and rights to work compliance activity.
• Responsible for the company’s sponsor license and the sponsor management system.
• Manage the visa application process for new hires and existing employees, providing accurate support and advice.
• Support managers and team members and provide timely advice on suitability for visa status for candidates.
• Ensure that sponsorship duties (e.g. recording, keeping, and reporting duties) are met and maintained to a high standard.
• Develop guidance material to educate employees and managers on the visa process whilst maintaining up to date knowledge of the UK immigration process and governing immigration laws.

What do we expect from our Visa & Immigration HR Officer?

• Experience handling applications for UK visas via a sponsor license for skilled workers.
• Demonstrate understanding of UKVI processes and legislation in relation to recruitment and employment.
• Prior experience within a HR department.
• Knowledge of UK immigration processes.
• High levels of attention to detail and organisational ability.
