Human Resources and Office Manager

We are looking for a talented HR/Office Manager to help our China team. This person will work within a tightly-knit global HR team and play an integral role within our China team. The main responsibilities for this role will include scheduling internal or external meetings, purchasing office supplies, creating and maintaining personnel files, updating company documents (such as employee handbook, HR roadmap, processing forms, etc), payroll & benefit administration, planning events and other ad hoc projects. It is vital that this role is organized, diligent, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate is located in Beijing, China. This can be a remote role.

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing confidential and time-sensitive materials
  • Managing employee records both physical and electronic, updating as necessary and in accordance with local laws
  • Managing payroll
  • Creating and managing expense reports
  • Handling department billing and invoices
  • In charge of recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding
  • Be the first point of contact for the office internally and externally
  • Answering employees’ questions and providing requested information
  • Maintaining, scheduling, and coordinating calendar activities
  • Planning large and small events such as holiday parties, remote care packages, and others as needed
  • Coordinating all office operations (even while we are remote) and procedures, and championing organizational efficiency throughout their regional location
  • Serving as a strategic liaison between the regional office and Headquarters. Including but not limited to Special Events, Business Technologies, and Talent Acquisition
  • Managing inventory of office supplies, paperwork, equipment, and apparel
  • Overseeing other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Knowledge/Education/Experience

Required

  • 2-3 Years of Administrative or Human Resources Support in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
  • Speaks native Chinese and English fluently,
  • Strong customer service and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational, planning and prioritizing, and time-management skills
  • Proficient in Google Suite (Meet, Docs, Slides, Sheets, etc.)
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate within all levels of the company as well as applicants
  • Ability to work independently or within a team environment and prioritize assignments and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks or projects
  • Forward thinking and takes the initiative to anticipate the needs of department/team
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Data-driven mindset
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Preferred

  • Speaks and writes in Korean
