We’re now looking for an HR Manager to join our New York location!

Our portfolio offers a wide range of products in the three Creative Divisions Avalanche Studios, Systemic Reaction, and Expansive Worlds, spread over the four locations. The Global People team defines and drives all People and Talent processes across Divisions and locations, with People representatives in New York, Stockholm, Liverpool, and Malmo.

Our members of staff are key to our game’s success, and as the HR Manager, it’s your objective to make sure everyone thrives and loves coming to work, making games in collaboration with our player communities.

As the HR Manager of New York, you work closely with the Division Management team to define and drive division-specific people initiatives, processes and policies, aimed to strengthen the full ASG employee journey. You coach and help grow the managers on your location and drive company values, culture, vision, mission, and practices within the division.

By determining relevant KPIs, you keep stakeholders updated on how the division is tracking towards goals and presenting proactive action on trends, risks, and opportunities.

You are responsible for HR compliance & benefits administration of the New York team and will be part of an international team and company that hires talent from all around the world. Avalanche Studios Group believes in facilitating leadership that empowers autonomy and creativity, where teams are provided goals instead of instructions.

In New York, you will work closely with our Location Manager, Division Management and departmental Production Leads. The HR Manager is an extended team member of the Global People team and reports to the Chief People Officer.

Who you are

Needed for the role

BS degree in human resource management or related field

4+ years HR experience from tech or creative industry

Knowledge of applicable legislation and regulatory HR guidelines in the US

Ability to travel internationally on rare occasions
