Savage games were formed in 2020 by industry veterans from studios such as; Rockstar, Insomniac, Supercell, Wargaming and Rovio. In 2022 we joined Playstation, making Savage the founding studio of the PlayStation Studios Mobile Division.

The Role:
Savage Games Studios is looking for a HR Manager to join our Helsinki Studio. The right candidate will provide day-to-day support to studio leaders, managers, and employees across three countries (Finland, Germany, and UK).
The ideal candidate will be passionate, have a sense of urgency for execution as well as natural curiosity, and the ability to deliver a positive employee service experience.
Responsibilities
- Promote positive employee relationships by effectively communicating and improving HR policies, practices and programs
- Provide responsive employee support, addressing questions and issues promptly, and oversee all employee data, HR administrative procedures and documentation processes
- Cultivate a robust organizational culture by partnering with studio management
- Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to support business needs in areas such as Learning and Development, Rewards, and other employment-related workflow processes
- Be the first point of contact on employee relations issues to conduct intake and work with the HR Business Partner to resolve complaints
Requirements
- 5+ years previous experience and proven results within HR in a fast paced, high tech or creative environment
- Working knowledge of HR laws and regulations within Finland
- Experience in performance management, well-being, or talent management development.
- Strong organisational skills, including the ability to multi-task and set priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with using Workday or any similar HR system / ATS
The ideal candidate will also have
- Previous experience in the games or entertainment industry.
- Previous experience working with creative teams.
