HR Communications & Project Specialist

Job Description
The role will work towards facilitating and managing internal and external employee and HR Communication with a sharp focus on information sharing & employer branding. The role will also work as a central POC on all HR projects and liaise with other HR members on ongoing projects in their perimeters. It will also serve as a central point of contact for all coordination and be a repository of contacts and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a liaison with the HR & Communications teams to align internal HR led communication as per the Organization & People strategy
- Continuously consolidate information from different avenues pertaining to HR communication initiatives through various mediums including digital, and interpersonal ways
- Create high quality engaging content for internal and external HR & employer branding communications ranging from presentations, blogs, website articles, intranet content, leadership mailers, periodic mailers etc
- Work on and implement strategies to increase visibility of HR initiatives internally and leverage external platforms (social media) to represent the Organization
- Partner and work closely with various members of the HR team (HRD, Talent Acquisition, L&D, Compensation & Benefits, HR Business Partners and HR Operations), Corporate Communications & Marketing teams, and other departments to ensure consistent and cohesive communication
- To manage all the HRD and leadership level communication including drafting and creating content to managing the HR specific mail inbox. The role will be the custodian managing the HR specific mail inbox
- Maintains knowledge of trends, developments, and best practices in HR and communications
- Work closely with HR Director and other stakeholders in the HR team on executing transversal HR Projects (this will be in addition to the core job role)
- Be the nodal point of all ongoing projects, consolidate & share regular updates on the progress
- Successfully manage with other HR members projects to include project planning, task management, and delegation. Ensure projects are executed efficiently and on time, updating stakeholders on agreed upon cadence
- Be the central point of contact for best practice research, service provider contacts and also be part of project ideation process
- Successfully communicate at all stages project planning initiation, progress and launch updates
- Partner with HR Analytics and other HR COE’s for regular HR reports at local and global levels and present the same to HRD
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of the workings of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook etc)
- High level of organization and attention to detail required
- Analytical & Presentation skills
- Project Management including planning and execution capability
- Relationship management and consulting skills
- Collaboration skills
- Time management skills with the ability to work around tight deadlines
As a plus:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Journalism, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in employee communications and/or human resources project management
