Position Purpose

Responsible for the coordination and support of the core functional areas of talent acquisition; employee new hire and onboarding in ADP software. The HRBP will be an advocate for the company’s vision and values, human resources programs, policies, procedures, and systems.

Essential J ob Function s

  • Proactive use of human resource software to assist Management with recruitment, onboarding, process improvement, communication and align with company goals
  • Acts as the point of contact for recruitment administration and onboarding
  • Provides guidance, expertise, and technical support to human resource software system users; acts as liaison for resolv ing user issues and gathers information from users and recommends best practice methods for future use
  • Assists in developing, testing, and implementing changes to the human resource software . Provides system knowledge, input, and tests new processes to ensure they work properly
  • Recommends changes and enhancements to the human resource software which includes report ing , procedural changes, and internal system control s
  • Coordinates and maintains data relating to the human resource software operation; prepares regular and ad-hoc reports; proficiency in BI reporting and maintains central control of human resource records to ensure integrity and accuracy
  • Assist employees by answering HR related questions, concerns, grievances, and take s appropriate action , or escalates if required
  • Assist in Workers' Comp, OSHA reporting, FMLA/OFLA, EEO reporting, various leave laws by jurisdiction , various notice and compliance requirements by state/locality

Qualifications/Skills Sets

• Effective interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills

• Use of computerized financial information and reporting systems to generate accurate HR and regulatory reports

• Ability to juggle multiple HR projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail and complet e assignments

• Take ownership & proactively work to improve processes within the HR department

• Use mathematics to solve problems and perform calculations

• Must be honest and ethical and maintain confidential ity

• Accept criticism and deal calmly and effectively with high stress situations

• Be reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations

• Ability and willingness to treat the public, vendors and coworkers in a manner consistent with the Company's vision, values and policies

• Work independently and as a member of a team

Education & Experience Required

Associates degree preferred with a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role.

HR Certification preferred , or willing to obtain HR certification within two year s of hire date .

Solid computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office .

Proficiency with HRM and ATS systems .

Experience with multi-state HR rules and regulations preferred but not required.
