The HR Team at KRAFTON is looking for an additional team member to join our HR Squad in Madison, WI reporting to the Director of People Operations. The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in Madison, WI location. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about each business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition. The HRBP will be responsible for updating and applying all HR policies and company guidelines as well as working with the rest of the team to make sure the company adheres to standards and laws in our region. Additionally the HRBP will be responsible for maintaining employee records in various HRIS systems, and working with the rest of the HR team to implement onboarding and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures and regulations.
Job Summary:
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conducts weekly meetings with respective business units
- Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation
- Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers
- Assists international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters
- Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning
- Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs
- Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success
- Follows up to ensure training objectives are met
- Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the HR department and organization as a whole, and to improve employee experience
- Handle some administrative related to Workday administration including onboarding tasks, team changes and regular data maintenance and auditing for accuracy
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field or HR certification
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in and HR related function
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
- Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, HRIS systems, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
