What We Need
The successful HR Business Partner will work shoulder to shoulder with 2K’s VP of Marketing Innovation and Head of 2K Games Dublin. You will play a key role in providing broad strategic and solution orientated support to employees and managers at all levels.This is an opportunity to be the HR lead for Dublin, responsible for the overall employee experience. You will be an integral member of the site leadership team as well as the wider global Human Resources team. The role is nicely balanced with a mix of strategic and operational exposure.
This is a 12-month full-time maternity cover contract where you will demonstrate your management, coaching, influencing and interpersonal skills to integrate and align the people strategy to the business goals.
What You Will Do
- Translate business goals and strategy into optimal People processes that are scalable, pragmatic, and adaptable to unique and changing business needs.
- Recommend innovative approaches and methods to drive continual improvements in strategic objectives, productivity, and HR development within the company.
- Diagnose problems and identify and drive appropriate solutions, striking the right balance between speed / flexibility and process / infrastructure.
- Ability to influence, drive decisions and recommendations with data.
- Drive the Irish recruitment strategy including implementation of our graduate programme.
- Be comfortable with ambiguity in an evolving, fast-paced environment.
- Prioritise effectively to deliver results both as a strategic and a hands-on People business partner with a "pulse" of its employees.
- Influence change initiatives, develop change management plans, and lead partners before and after changes occur.
- Handling local ER issues, providing advice to line managers, remaining up to do date with Irish employment legislation.
- Effectively coach at all levels of the organisation and demonstrate success in driving career retention and rewards programs.
- Be a passionate teammate with an aim to create a positive work environment.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication, including high-quality document preparation and presentation skills.
- Be able to work autonomously, exercise excellent judgment, and be a critical member of both business and HR teams.
- Effectively lead a team of 2-3 people (HR Generalist & Office Manager).

- Practical experience providing formal and informal executive coaching and development in all areas of guidance.
- Business understanding, knowledge, professionalism; experience in all aspects of how a business operates. Develop, and articulate the value proposition of a new strategy, process, or program.
- Excellent strategic planning and operational deployment skills with the ability to integrate and align strategy, people, and activities across functions, processes, and teams. Able to translate vision and strategy into clear, concrete goals
- Vital: project planning and leadership skills
- Minimum 3-5 years HRBP / Organization Development / Effectiveness experience in a medium, fast-paced, changing global company, with a proven history of success in leading change and achieving results.

- Our brand-new offices are based in Dublin City Centre, we are operating a hybrid work flex model, with flexibility in terms of office / work from home.
- Working hours are generally 10am to 18:30pm to accommodate collaboration with our US teams and HQ.
