Growth Marketing Manager
Storm8 is a mobile social gaming studio based in San Mateo, CA focused on delivering fun casual games to a wide audience. We’re looking for a full-time creative, hands-on, results-driven Growth Marketing Manager to help us promote our current and next generation of titles. An ideal candidate is comfortable with everything from brainstorming sessions for ad ideas to developing new strategies within the paid acquisition space and is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.
Responsibilities
- Develop direct response paid campaigns to acquire new users, including concept creation, implementation, optimization
- Collaborate across teams (designers, developers, engineers) to develop and execute integrated marketing plans
- Work with senior management to drive marketing and UA strategy
- Evaluate, research, and test new opportunities regularly
- Stay aware of the industry landscape, paid channel development, and best practices of direct response campaigns
- Develop test plans, measure performance, and make recommendations based on testing
- Optimize creative, targeting, bids and budgets to attain higher ROI
Qualifications
- Versatile marketing skill set: you can come up with creative concepts, write ad copy, give feedback on design, implement ads, analyze and report on results
- 4+ years experience in marketing
- 2+ years of paid acquisition experience, including but not limited to Facebook, Google AdWords, Apple Search Ads, etc.
- Proven record of hitting user acquisition goals
- Experience with performance marketing across both search and social channels
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Great to Have, But Not Necessary
- Established relationships with existing direct response networks
- Experience in the mobile gaming space

- You’re flexible, scrappy when necessary (we’re a small team), and can work autonomously
