At Wizards of the Coast, we connect people around the world through play and imagination. From our genre-defining games like Magic: The Gathering® and Dungeons & Dragons® to our growing multiverse, we continue to innovate and build new ways to foster friendship and connection. That’s where you come in!
We’re looking for a data-driven Growth Marketing Manager to lead critical performance marketing initiatives. As a key member of the Marketing organization, you will work with business partners across the organization to build high-impact programs driving engagement with our players, generating new player growth, and reacquiring players back into our gaming ecosystem.
You're a versatile growth leader that possesses both creative and technical expertise, spanning the entire length of the customer journey. You have hands-on experience in customer lifecycle management, email marketing, paid media, content marketing, and full-funnel marketing analytics across multiple device platforms.
What You'll Do:
- Partner cross-functionally with leaders in Marketing, Business Intelligence, and Product Management to drive alignment between business and performance marketing strategy.
- Innovate and build exceptional customer experiences using multi-channel marketing strategies that acquire customers and increase retention.
- Develop, build, and launch lifecycle programs from brief to development, automation workflows, and execution.
- Build paid media strategies across core advertising channels (search, social, display, and programmatic) to support player lifecycle initiatives.
- Create growth strategies that prioritize small hypotheses, fast experimentation, and rapid iteration over large, long-term campaigns.
- Analyze campaign and player performance, run hypothesis-based tests, and deliver weekly reports.
What You'll Bring:
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of work experience in performance marketing, leading demand generation, and the player acquisition funnel.
- Managed a multi-million-dollar advertising budget.
- Hands-on experience using lifecycle marketing and paid advertising platforms on both mobile and desktop.
- Ability to attribute program performance back to channel, goal, and product line.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to interpret data to make strategic recommendations.
- Outstanding communication - both written and spoken. Comfortable presenting analysis to teams, collaborators, and leadership.
- Advanced hands-on experience with quantitative media analysis and optimization.
- Ability to work in a multifaceted fast-paced environment and convert the ambiguous into clear action.
- Experience working with global brands.
- Passion for both games and the business of games.
