We are looking for a hungry and results-focused individual to join our Partnerships team. In this role, you will leverage AppLovin’s products and expertise to drive growth for game developers and the mobile gaming market. You will also have a chance to work directly with AppLovin’s leadership - including Directors and VPs across teams, and to learn from many thought leaders in the industry, including our founders. This role can evolve to match any problem we face as the mobile ecosystem's evolution picks up pace.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up, manage and optimize worldwide advertising campaigns across a variety of ad networks, including but not limited to AppLovin, Facebook Ads, and Google Ads
  • Optimize app store presence on Google Play and iOS; drive organic growth via app-store optimization (ASO) & testing
  • Benchmark daily, weekly, and monthly campaign performance against key metrics to identify growth areas & shape our growth strategy
  • Ensure alignment with our partner gaming companies and internal cross-functional teams in the execution our growth strategy
  • Manage multi-million dollar media buying budgets; analyze user cohorts and LTV to ensure profitability in media buying
  • Ideate and collaborate with our in-house Creative Services in the creation, testing, and scaling of new ad assets
  • Continuously think outside of the box and take calculated risks while conducting a high volume of ad and campaign tests for growth; take a scientific method approach in developing hypotheses, setting up experiments, and analyzing results to prove or disprove your theories - you will own these test from beginning to end and leverage the results to inform future tests
  • Understand the mobile gaming competitive landscape and publisher supply
  • Proactively and independently execute opportunities to improve individual and team output, performance, and efficiency
  • Actively and constantly learn on your own. We love to teach, but you’re expected to figure out solutions on your own or ask people to find time to teach you

Basic Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an analytical or quantitative major preferred, but not required
  • 1 - 5 years of professional experience
  • Team-player who will thrive in a dynamic, constantly evolving environment
  • Love of hands-on testing to prove or disprove a theory
  • Ability to be self-sufficient, self-teaching, and execute quickly when given autonomy
  • Phenomenal organization, analytical skills, and orientation to detail
  • Strong work ethic, flexibility, and drive to deliver results and achieve the business vision
  • Embrace change and uncertainty as exciting challenges for learning and growth
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, including pivot tables, conditional formatting, VLOOKUP, and formulas
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, in support of achieving team objectives

Pluses:

  • Mobile experience and knowledge of the mobile advertising landscape
  • Programmatic media-buying experience
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • A basic understanding of programming or scripting
  • An eerie love of Excel and pivot tables
  • A passion for games (of any type)
  • Understanding of models for intelligent decision making, such as game theory, chess, or poker
