The Challenge
To assist and work with the Head of International Finance and Snr Group Reporting Manager in all aspects of group consolidation, reporting, label and business support. To assist in the preparation of the consolidated European financial statements for review according to agreed timetables. To coordinate, consolidate and analyse the reserve process.
What You’ll Take On
Reporting
- Prepare the consolidation of the monthly P&L, Balance Sheet and Schedules;
- Assist for the preparation of the supplementary schedules for review;
- Assist the SGRM and HOIF in the review of analytical reports from territories;
- Prepare analysis and commentary on financial performance focusing on Opex;
- Assist for the consolidation of the marketing actual and forecast overview schedules with commentary (if applicable) for review with HOIF
- Assist monthly provisions consolidation and analysis for review by HOIF, VPIF and senior T2, 2K and Rockstar management;
- Assist monthly inventory reconciliation & consolidation as well as quarterly consolidation and review of obsolescence reserves;
- Assist for preparing and booking all consolidation adjustments;
- Responsible to ensure that all territories monthly reporting submissions are complete;
- Responsible for ensuring that system integrity reports are reviewed and any issues highlighted to HOIF;
- Assist in the preparation of the reporting timetables for International territories, Corporate and labels;
- Develop an understanding and working knowledge of the entire Finance function and all other departments within the Take 2 organisation;
- Assist with Sales forecast preparation, review and validation for INTL
- Provision of ad-hoc reporting analyses.
Financial Systems
- Gain understanding of T2 financial systems, JD Edwards, Hyperion, Hyperion Planning, Oracle BI, Blackline;
- Integrities between Hyperion and JD Edwards;
- Flag systems’ issues early and follow through to resolution;
- Work within the team to push through system changes to enhance systems for reporting, planning and modelling requirements.
Projects
- Assist SGRM and HOIF in the successful co-ordination, training, implementation, testing and reconciliation of chosen projects including :
- Blackline
- Close efficiencies
- Visualization using Tableau
Compliance, Guidance & Audit
- Enhance knowledge of US GAAP;
- Enhance knowledge of International structure and operations;
- Ensure SOX procedures are adhered to;
- Ensure compliance with Take Two’s accounting policies and procedures;
- Assist the Group Reporting team with Quarterly and Annual Audits.
What You Bring
- An experienced Group Reporting Analyst with strong knowledge with one or more of the following systems: JD Edwards, Excel, Hyperion, Essbase, Oracle Business Intelligence, SOX, Blackline, Anaplan OR Tableau.
- Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant with relevant experience
- Strong ERP and BI systems knowledge.
- Ability to deliver accurately and within tight deadlines;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Technically competent in US GAAP reporting;
- Ambitious, proactive, self-starter with ability to grow in this role within the Reporting Group;
- Commercially aware, with an appreciation of key business risks;
- Actively seeks out opportunities to ‘add value’.
