Graphics Research Intern

This internship is an opportunity within the Unity Labs team, which is located in Grenoble, France. The Grenoble team does rendering research with the goal of publishing technical papers and prototyping technical demos.
The mission at Unity Grenoble is to push Computer Graphics to be as fast as in games, as beautiful as in movies while being easy to author. We research graphics algorithms that bring technology towards the convergence of real-time graphics (games), VFX graphics (movies), and content authoring (tools) in a unified pipeline.
You will have the opportunity to explore various applications of deep learning in graphics. Applications include but are not limited to style-transfer, image antialiasing, texture upsampling, procedural generation, etc. Encouraging results may lead to an academic publication and/or international communication, which is the main focus of the Unity Labs Grenoble team (the full list of publications can be accessed here: https://unity.com/labs/publications
Responsibilities
- Read and survey scientific articles
- Get familiar with the theory of deep learning
- Explore and discover new mathematical models
- Design and optimize Neural Networks
Requirements
- You should be a master level student currently studying in a relevant subject such as computer graphics
- You should have relevant personal projects in the field of Graphics
- Programming skills in relevant languages such as C++
