Graphics Engineer
As a graphics engineer at Vicarious Visions, you will be responsible for creating stunning visuals for our games. You’ll work with other industry experts to implement techniques that help realize the vision of our art team.

About the role
- Implement and maintain graphics systems and graphics features.
- Identify weaknesses in engineering workflows and collaborate with tools engineers to improve those workflows.
- Collaborate with artists in establishing and shepherding the artistic vision.
- Evaluate and improve rendering feature performance.
- Create and maintain tools to help content creators optimize assets.
About you
- 2+ years of graphics experience in a professional setting
- Shipped at least one game with significant contributions to the graphics engine
- Knowledge and experience with modern real-time graphics techniques
- Solid understanding of graphics fundamentals
- Strong mathematics skills, including trigonometry and linear algebra
- Comfortable programming in various languages including C and C++
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deep curiosity about real-time graphics
- Experience with graphics on multiple platforms, including mobile platforms, is a plus
