We are looking for a motivated student with a passion for Graphics programming to join the Unity Low-Level Graphics team in Helsinki. You will be working with Unity’s low level graphics code, including interfacing with modern graphics APIs such as DirectX 12, Vulkan and Metal. Our team has a performance-oriented mindset. We will guide you to use various tools and techniques to analyze and fix the performance bottlenecks encountered in modern games.

This is a 4-6 month paid internship starting in summer 2021.
What you’ll be doing
- Be involved in implementing rendering features for multiple platforms..
- Gain experience in software testing and documentation practices.
- Profile, analyze and optimize performance bottlenecks in existing rendering code.
What we’re looking for
- Currently studying in a relevant subject such as Computer Science or Games and looking for an internship
- Experience in C++ programming.
- Experience in graphics programming, such as with OpenGL, Vulkan or similar
You might also have
- Experience in C# programming
- Experience working on shaders (GLSL and/or HLSL)
- Experience in GPGPU programming, such as with OpenCL or Cuda.
- Experience in code profiling and optimization
