Role Description
We're looking for an experienced Graphic Designer with an impressive portfolio to help us bring top of the line apparel & merchandise to our Community. About Illuvium
Illuvium Labs is an independent game development studio based in Sydney, Australia. We develop blockchain-based games for the Illuvium DAO. We have developed a strong culture of independence with our team, preferring candidates who can articulate their own vision and goals. We operate almost entirely remotely, so each team member designs their own hours and work schedule. In the end, all that matters is the delivered product. Responsibilities
- Support the print and graphic design team in designing artworks for merchandise
- Design graphic artworks, prints & patterns
- Gathering research and inspiration for the latest trends
- Create precise mock-ups with sizing, Colorways, etc
- Stay on top of new techniques and resources in print and graphics to develop original artwork
- Create layouts for artwork and logo placements
- Preparing designs in tech pack form, PLM systems and be able to communicate to vendors
- Develop and maintain AI and PDF versions of digital colour and pattern archives by season
- Organize existing projects and be responsible for administrative design tasks, including managing seasonal palettes
- Communicate regularly with Design & Product Development teams to help problem-solve where necessary
- Follow up and coordinate all ongoing projects in order to meet stated deadlines and track artwork throughout the entire design process
Skills and Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years of graphic and print design experience.
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Have the ability to create vector-based and hand-drawn artworks and recolour prints.
- Experienced with various print techniques, wet prints, digital prints and textures.
- An understanding of foundational graphic design principles such as typography and composition.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with web3 teams or a willingness to learn about web3.
- Experience designing for apparel companies.
