Graphic Designer

POSITION SUMMARY

We are searching high and low for a battle-hardened graphic designer to join our Creative Services squad to help us be the best there ever was! Someone who has experience working in the entertainment industry and taking on a variety of marketing materials would be our ideal fit. You will report to the Design Lead and work alongside fellow designers and project managers to create pixel magic.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design marketing material for events, retail, social media, video, and web
• Work with established IP and brands to create posters, decals, booth signage, social banners, email blasts, game packshots, etc
• Use our project management software to track your progress and communicate with requestors
• Collaborate with project managers and other graphic designers to produce quality assets with quick turnaround timelines

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• 1-2+ Years in the gaming industry (or related entertainment industry)

• 3-5+ Years of professional Graphic Design experience
• Be a self sufficient designer that can work independently and can provide solutions
• Have a good understanding of typography, color theory, layout and marketing design
• Ability to conceptualize, articulate solutions, and possess excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong experience in Photoshop, with an understanding of Illustrator, InDesign, and the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Power Level Over 9000
• Familiarity with the game industry and Bandai Namco’s brands
• Experience working with video teams and handing off files to animators/motion graphics artists

• Familiarity working with print or product packaging design

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• BS or BFA Degree in Art & Design or equivalent Industry experience

PORTFOLIO REQUIRED

Flexible, Remote and Work From Home options are available for this position until approximately April 2022. Afterwards we expect all employee's to join us at our new offices in Irvine, California where a hybrid work schedule will be observed.
