Reporting to the UK based Creative Director, and working within the UK based Creative Services team, the designer will be familiar with the challenges and demands of a fast paced creative studio environment. The designer will be highly creative, highly motivated and excellent at multi-tasking with a broad skill set.

The designer will need a minimum of 3-4 years industry experience working in a creative studio/environment and preferably be qualified to degree level. Working on various projects such as online and print advertising, game packaging, presentations, websites, newsletters, logos, 1 st party metadata, social imagery and more, the successful candidate will need to be a confident and self-motivated all-round designer. This role requires a highly imaginative mind-set and a positive attitude to a very challenging, exciting and ever-evolving creative process. Must be able to work independently, but also as part of a team, and be able to take a project from concept to finished artwork. The successful candidate must be able to work to tight deadlines, and have a keen eye for detail. Resourcefulness and being able to create artwork from scratch is also important.

A thorough understanding of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and InDesign is mandatory, working on mac hardware.

Ideally the successful candidate will have knowledge of 2D/3D animation (Adobe After Effects, Premiere etc), as well as basic video editing skills as this role offers the scope to expand into this field. Many of our videos are finalised or created in-house so experience in this field is definitely a major advantage, but not essential.

- Working on designs for various global projects; online advertising, marketing materials, website designs, newsletters, packaging, internal and external presentations, 1 st party submission material, keyart, logos etc.

- Liaising with Brand Managers to ensure brand guidelines are respected and territorial versions are appropriate for respective market

- Undertake weekly update calls with the UK Studio Manager to discuss upcoming projects and timings

- Create finished artwork using supplied assets, assets created in-house, or assets created from scratch

- Interpret briefs from brand managers, Marketing, Social to ensure visual identity of game reflects content and is appropriate for the target group

- Participate in meetings, internally and externally, providing feedback and constructive discussion

- Self motivated and able to manage time effectively in order to ensure deadlines are met

- Research trends, competitors and material for our titles

In addition to your normal duties you may be required to undertake other duties from time to time, including travel inside and outside of the UK. The role is fundamentally remote, but at least one day in the 505 games headquarters a week, which is based in Milton Keynes, is mandatory.
