Job Description
Ubisoft Montreal and the User Research Lab is looking for a UI Graphic Designer. You will contribute to the design of tools, a new visual identity for the service and other visual creations.
As a member of the Knowledge and Communications team of Ubisoft Montreal's User Research Lab, you will interact with researchers, user testing specialists and directly with product development teams.
You will bring your knowledge, creativity and passion for UI and your user-centered design approach.
What you'll do
- Support clients or team members from their design idea to the delivery of their project;
- Be part of a dynamic team on multiple creative projects;
- Create and maintain a library of assets;
- Participate in the creation of an internal visual identity for the team;
- Create various assets for visual support such as team presentations, announcements, and more;
- Create and iterate on high and low level mock-ups, flows and prototypes;
- Create or rework logos for our internal tools;
- Collaborate and communicate with developers, researchers, project managers and other collaborators;
- Contribute to and participate in the development of our design system on several platforms;
- Improve our design culture and methodology.
Qualifications
What you bring
- A good portfolio of products that showcase your UI and graphic design skills
- Time management skills to work on multiple projects at once and with varying deadlines;
- Creative mind to bring a design to life with simple instructions;
- Good knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD);
- Knowledge of creating in PowerPoint;
- Knowledge of SharePoint, Confluence, Tableaux (an asset);
- Knowledge of the different publication formats on social networks (an asset);
- Bilingual (French and English);
- Up-to-date with the latest tools, practices and trends;
- Knowledge and experience with prototyping tools;
- Understanding of HTML/CSS integration;
- Identity design skills;
- A good team player.
- Highly organized, proactive and a positive attitude.
- A high degree of autonomy and willingness to learn.
- An interest in video games (an asset).
