The esports industry has seen exponential growth in terms of both viewership and revenue. This increase in viewership is primarily driven by the revenue growth, because brands are investing in esports marketing more than ever before. So, TL created a growing subdivision called Liquid Media.
Liquid Media is a 360 full-service agency offering businesses access to Team Liquid’s experience, expertise, and knowledge of reaching, engaging, and selling to a growing global gaming and esports world.
TL has headquarters in Santa Monica, CA, and the Netherlands, hosting Liquid Media (media agency), 1UP Studios (production house), Liquid+ (fan engagement app), and Liquipedia (the largest esports wiki).

If so, you could be type of candidate that would be perfect for the Graphic Designer/ Motion Graphics Artist role at Team Liquid.
In the Graphic Designer/Motion Graphics Artist role, you will conceptualize and create visually engaging graphics on a wide array of Liquid Media projects and client social channels. You will also have varying levels of creative freedom, from uninhibited expression to strict sets of rules and guidelines and opportunities to take on additional responsibilities.
Your day-to-day responsibilities:
- Review graphic requests and gather additional assets and graphics as needed to fulfill request requirements, ensuring strategies to define the client’s visions, graphic design requirements, and brand guidelines are formulated and executed.
- Create sketches/mood boards implementing brainstorm session ideas and integrating design elements.
- Provide ideas and recommendations to assist creatives in executing high-quality graphic requests within tight deadlines.
- Design and animate captivating motion graphics and animations.
- Prepare and produce graphics for the video content package.
- Set guidelines and checkpoints when coordinating with other stakeholders to approve.
- Give and gather cogent post-feedback notes to ensure final designs and high-quality graphic deliverables meet requirements, objectives, and brand guidelines.
Ideally, you have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or other applicable areas of study or related work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and illustrator.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of design principles, typography, and readability.
- Extensive experience retouching photos.
- Fluent in English.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Creative problem solver.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of the latest trends in design sites and blogs, esports, and the entertainment industry.
- Previous thumbnail or graphic design experience, ideally at a large network, media company, or agency.
