Graphic Designer (6 Month Contract)

Survios , the foremost virtual reality game developer and pioneer of the future of immersive technologies, has an opening for a talented Graphic Design Contractor to support our talented creative team for the next 6 months.

We are looking for a Graphic Designer with a strong sense of visual design and experience working on design projects in a team environment. The Graphic Designer will collaborate with the Senior Visual Designer and Creative Director on the development and execution of various creative concepts. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, passionate about entertainment design, has a proactive approach to problem solving and execution, and is an expert in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Requirements:

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in design-related discipline (or) 2-5 years design experience.
• Solid foundational knowledge of visual design, composition, web design, typography and photography.
• Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite of applications.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Knowledge and passion for gaming and interactive entertainment.
• Strong design portfolio that shows examples of work in entertainment (television, film or video games).
• Some experience working with existing brands and IP and/or brand identity design of original IP.
• Some experience producing layouts and graphics for company or product pitch decks in Google Slides, PowerPoint or Keynote.
• High attention to detail and adherence to defined brand guidelines.
• Resilient, able to translate constructive feedback into design magic.
• Able to conceptualize and create visual prototypes for but not limited to: key art, digital advertisements, social media and websites.
• Able to generate designs from written, verbal, and roughly drawn “cocktail napkin” ideas, and iterating from thumbs to final pieces.
• Comfortable working predominantly in digital medium.
• Able to work with an added level of autonomy and manage own timelines.
