At Rebellion North, we work closely with graduates and can support and mentor you in all areas of game development, exposing the right candidate to lots of different exciting opportunities.
We are looking for someone like you to become our all-new Graduate Programmer and join our passionate and talented Rebellion North team, where we are building on the years of success that Rebellion has enjoyed.
As a Graduate Programmer, you’ll be dedicated to developing and maintaining new code and producing high quality games. You will maintain and debug your own and existing code, while writing and maintaining technical documentation. As part of the Rebellion Northteam, you will play a key role in identifying and solving development obstacles that arise and optimising performance.
This role would suit someone with a keen interest in the video game development process and with strong maths skills.
The Rebellion North team delivers code for multiple high-end projects with a focus on optimising code and delivery outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new code across projects
- Maintain and debug code
- Write and maintain technical documentation
- Working with the development team to produce high quality products in a timely manner
- Accurately estimate schedules with some oversight and deliver high quality work products to that schedule
- Develop an understanding of best practices, production pipelines and workflows

Requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of C++
- Knowledge and understanding of system design and 3D maths
- A logical and technical mind with the ability to break down problems and create effective solutions
- An ability to produce and maintain clean, efficient, stable and well commented code
- A good understanding of game logic systems
