We have a new Graduate Physics Programming role at Codemasters HQ and we are looking to hire a new member of this great team! C++ Physics is at the heart of every driving game, and key to creating a realistic and fun experience for the player.

Our AAA titles include best-in-class racing games, and much of the power of our experiences comes from the complex, uncompromising quality of our physics code-base in C++.

As part of a small physics team, you will be working alongside the wider code and design team in order to create innovative, robust and efficient solutions to applying physics to the game world, in order to enhance the gameplay and help to bring the environments to life. This will include developing and maintaining the required interacts between the physics system and all other parts of the game, such as vehicle handling, damage and destruction, gameplay, AI, particles, audio and animation.

Our teams are highly collaborative and always keep abreast of cutting-edge programming techniques and advancements. Having our own in-house engine and tools development means that our coders are able to get to rare new depths of software expertise.

You DO NOT NEED EXPERIENCE for this role but you MUST have a related degree or equiv., and some of;- a great github, portfolio; modding examples; or personal projects to demonstrate a really solid understanding of C++.
