Global QA Manager

Responsibilities:
- Drive the QA effort across the company portfolio on all platforms (PC, Console, Mobile, and Streaming) achieving the best quality output possible
- Manage internal and external test teams across multiple projects, both in development and as live services across all 505 subsidiary divisions
- Work with Producers and other team leaders from across 505’s worldwide organization to assess and deliver on QA-related project needs
- Develop and work on strategic planning, budgeting, reporting, and vendor contract negotiations, ensuring optimal test allocations across all projects and regions
- Deliver on company goals by maintaining and refining effective QA standards, reducing resubmission rates, and executing test coverage within approved budgets
- Coordinate with the Submissions & Ratings Team to ensure products submit on schedule and to ensure a high degree of confidence via release candidate viability
- Develop and report regularly on project status, quality metrics, KPIs , burn rates, and other QA trends
- Work closely with management on team structure, headcount, hiring, long-term planning, development of training processes, and QA career paths
- Assist with hands-on game testing when required (multiplayer stress tests, usability, internal review, accessibility, and compatibility)
- Provide review and accountability on accuracy of game metadata and packaging content
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years or more running teams in either a game development or QA environment, with proven cross-functional leadership experience in a Manager or Sr. Manager role
- 1-2 years or more working with outsource-based QA models and related functions (vendor management, contract negotiation, efficiency analysis, payment/invoice processing, etc.)
- Exceptional team management, organizational, communication, and mentoring skills
- Expertise with QA, Project Management, and communication tools (Jira, Hansoft, Redmine, Teams, Clickup, Office 365, Slack, etc.)
- Strong understanding of FQA, CQA, and Submissions best practices for PC, Console, Mobile, and Streaming platforms
- Highly creative, proactive, enthusiastic, conscientious, and solution-oriented
- Legally eligible to work for any employer in the US or UK
Desirable Skills:
- Experience leveraging third-party technology, test case tracking, and automated QA solutions to improve productivity and reduce redundancy
- Knowledge of current console compliance guidelines (PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch) a plus
- Experience supporting live products with frequent updates
- A love for video games and video game culture
