Wargaming is looking for a Global Product Public Relations Manager to join our World of Warships team. We are looking for an independent, dynamic and ambitious person with high energy and drive to push our PR efforts to the next level worldwide. Reports To
Public Relations Manager will report to Business Development Director.
What will you do?
- Lead the public relations strategy with a focus on expanding earned media footprint.
- Create and execute global and regional public relations campaigns.
- Coordinate regional PR teams and monitor their delivery.
- Build positive relationships with key media outlets.
- Identify new media opportunities and targets.
- Coordinate media inquiries and interviews.
- Organize press events.
- Search internally for interesting stories and create new narratives.
- Develop and maintain positive relationship with internal stakeholders.
- Look for opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.
- Support crisis communications.
- Budgeting, financial flow control.
- Provide regular performance reports.
What are we looking for?
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in public relations and/or marketing communications, in-house or agency.
- Understanding of the international media landscape and cultural differences.
- Excellent verbal and written English.
- Ability to build productive relationship with key stakeholders and other departments.
- Ability to analyze different media opportunities and craft engaging story pitches.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Strong passion for games or working experience in the gaming industry.
- Previous experience in organizing press events.
- Excellent PC and MS Office skills.
What additional skills will help you stand out?
- Experience working with industry tools such as Cision or Meltwater.
- Experience working in a gaming company.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to prove ROI.
- Experience working in an international environment.
- Be an active online player and be interested in the online games market.
